Talking about Windows 7, always make one think about the extensive new features and the awesome design of Windows with new styles and themes.

As the Title indicates, here I am going to write about one fantastic feature available in Windows 7 with the name “GodMode”.

What is GodMode ?

GodMode is basically a content folder consisting nearly all settings and modding options (Control Panel Options, Windows Settings Options, Performance Options, Display, Gadgets and much more other options). In total it allows you to perform 283 settings/modding actions.

Take a look at the screenshot I snapped from my GodMode:

GodMode can be created by adding a special set of characters to the folder name.

How To Enable GodMode in Windows 7 ?

To Enable GodMode in your Windows 7 system, all you need to do is to follow these simple steps:

• Create a New folder anywhere on your computer and name it as “GodMode”.
• Rename the folder again by adding “.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}” ahead of “GodMode”
• The folder name must look like “GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}“
• Hit Enter(Save it) with the above name, and you will have a new folder with name “GodModeGodMode” with a special icon :
  



• That’s it. Now you can enjoy your GodMode Content Folder!

The MSDN Library consist of many other canonical codes like “{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”, that could be used for generating such more folders on your system.

iTechnoBuzz cant say its official until no words out from Redmond , but with Rumors, it sense like they are going to release the RC copy in mid summers.

Regarding various posts over Microsoft Partners Program website and the Windows 7 Official Forum says that new master OS will be out in the market as a release candidate (RC) in late May. Rumor or real stuff, we will figure it out within mid summers.

OEM Partners have their Copies already

Wit the Rumor May release RC date is not confirmed, The company admits that their OEM partners like Dell, Sony  already have their copies.

With a fail of Windows Vista, Microsoft seems like working hard over Windows7 to make shoppers and buyers happy for their purposes. With Beta out, Windows7 seems to be a master pices yet. Lets see what the final version says.

Microsoft allready released the Beta and now they are moving to the original release of their power packed Windows 7. Yes, Windows 7 is near to get release officially. The cost and pricing information is not out yet, but what all info is out is that if you are one of the students waiting for the release of Windows 7 , then you will get some deep discount or even free when the Final version will come out at year end.

Check as following :

1. Computers sold between 26/06/2009 and 31/01/2010 having Vista in them will be provided a free upgrade to Windows7. So geeks, if you’ve got your eyes to buy a new PC, just wait a little while longer (this will be applied to every user, not just students).

2. Much of the schools affiliate to the Microsoft Developers Network Academic Alliance. If you are in such school, surf on your MSDNAA site (each school has their own) when the Windows 7 is released and check if your MSDNAA site offers it.

3. Microsoft DreamSpark will provide free software to people with a valid e-mail address from any of the qualifying schools listed. It’s possible Windows7 will be released on Dreamspark as well.
