The Iphone entered into the indian markets with a lot of hype. People in India were going crazy to buy this piece of shear technology. But after use reviews of Iphone are just not good. The Iphone misses bulk features which you
can easily find on any simple and cheap multimedia phone making it ( Iphone ) somewhat worthless. its full of drawbacks and misses a hell lot of features which have been discussed below :
Lets take the Bluetooth first – Though it supports Bluetooth its restricted to only for Bluetooth headset. You can’t use the Bluetooth in the Iphone to transfer files ( images , videos , mp3s ) or contacts to and fro other phones and not even your PC.
The phone just has a single button. Its somewhat good for typical touchscreen users but not for those who are not familier with it. And When some one calls you and you have your Iphone locked the only thing you can do is to accept
the call , theres no way to reject it…
It has a 2 Megapixcel camera but at prices 31k n 36k….without any flash…you can have any 5 Megapixcel Camera Phone. The camera is just good for daylight shots..or you can say its far better from other camera phones….but in dim light …the pics are just not up to the level..forget about the night….theres no flash…motion image quality is also poor.
There is no zoom option available in the camera and no video recording
The Ringtone volume is too bad.Its due to the small speakers in the bottom of the phone. If you misplace it , you will have a hard time finding your phone…….
The speaker sound output is also not good .You can have a better sound output with any nokia or ericsson phone. Its good if you can have your earphones plugged into your ears all the time.
You cannot set the custom ringtomes easily cause you have just two options ,you purchase the ringtones from itunes stores or use the itunes software to create a custom ring tone.
There is no FM Radio.
The Best part of the Iphone is its browsing capability but it does not support flash.
Iphone supports pdf reader but there is no way to transfer pdf files to your iphone. Either you have to download it from the internet and then you just can’t store them as well. So you need install some third party software to download and store the pdf files.
No USB drive support. You cannot carry around your data with the Iphone.In short you just cant use the internal memory as you like.You can’t save anything while browsing the internet on the iPhone . All you can do is use it to syncronise songs , calendar , contacts . When you connect this phone to your pc the one thing you will see is a drive containing pics taken from your Iphone camera . Thats all you can furnish out of it.
You cannot forward a sms. And there no space for the mms facility.
Theres no support for java applications.
No copy n paste functions available for instance you cannot copy a part of your email and paste it to the other..its just not possible or you can’t use it to copy n paste any url .
Theres no Removable Battery. if something goes wrong with it , you just have a single option of sending it to the apple outlet.
When you send a picture through an email it compresses the size without giving an option to send it in full resolution.
You cannot use your phone as a wireless modem . You just cant connect it to your PC and Browse over Internet.
So , this phone is really not worthy at such a high Price.
