Talking about Windows 7, always make one think about the extensive new features and the awesome design of Windows with new styles and themes.
As the Title indicates, here I am going to write about one fantastic feature available in Windows 7 with the name “GodMode”.
What is GodMode ?
GodMode is basically a content folder consisting nearly all settings and modding options (Control Panel Options, Windows Settings Options, Performance Options, Display, Gadgets and much more other options). In total it allows you to perform 283 settings/modding actions.

GodMode can be created by adding a special set of characters to the folder name.
How To Enable GodMode in Windows 7 ?
To Enable GodMode in your Windows 7 system, all you need to do is to follow these simple steps:
- Create a New folder anywhere on your computer and name it as “GodMode”.
- Rename the folder again by adding “.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}” ahead of “GodMode”
- The folder name must look like “GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}“
- Hit Enter(Save it) with the above name, and you will have a new folder with name “GodModeGodMode” with a special icon :
- That’s it. Now you can enjoy your GodMode Content Folder!
The MSDN Library consist of many other canonical codes like “{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”, that could be used for generating such more folders on your system.
