Extract 5 Hidden Windows 7 International Themes (AU, CA, GB, US, ZA)

From last few days, we are working over the Final released Windows 7 and are continuing posts regarding the same. Today, while playing with hidden files within the Windows Folder, I found some really interesting files and folders, working on which i came to know about the 5 Hidden International Themes. The MCT folder with Path = “C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT” consists of 5 Hidden International Themes of Australia , Canada, United Kingdom, United States and South Africa.

After extracting these 5 themes, now I have 6 Aero Themes and 5 International Themes in my personalize option.

To Extract the 5 Hidden International Windows 7 themes, simply follow these steps:

Open “My Computer” and click on Organize tab, later click on Folder and Search Options.
Select “View”Â tab and choose “Show hidden files, folders and drives” and also uncheck “Hide Protected Operating System Files” click “APPLY” and “OK”.
Now go to MCT Directory by path “C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT” consisting 5 MCT Folders (AU, CA, GB, US, ZA) (in Windows 7 Ultimate – Final release) consisting of Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States and South Africa Themes respectively.
To install any of the above 5 theme double click the “MCT” folder to open it and then double click the “Theme” folder consisting the theme file, finally double click the “theme file” to apply it. double clicking the “ZA” file under Theme Folder of MCT-ZA folder will add the South Africa Theme to Personalized option.
After extracting all 5 themes, this is how my personalized option pane looks like :
You are done with the process, You can check and apply the new extracted themes by right clicking on your desktop and click on Personalize and simply click on any of the theme.
